Their goals were to enlighten the community about the importance of having a K-9 on staff, and encourage viewers to donate to Munster’s self-funded K-9 Unit. This video premiered at the town’s 2019 National Night Out Against Crime Celebration, and helped generate enough funding to welcome two new K-9s onto the force.
In celebration of the Town of Munster’s 25th National Night Out Against Crime Celebration, a parade traveled throughout the community on October 6, 2020. This video was involved in the submission content that earned Munster a #1 national ranking by the National Association of Town Watch (15,000-50,000 population category) in 2020.
